Not the ball... the baby! So yesterday I didn't post anything because I was so horridly uncomfortable the whole day I thought I was sick or something. The skin on my stomach felt like it was being stretched to the limit - I was hot - I was thirsty - I was cranky - and pretty much a regular pain in the butt pregnant lady to be around. Not that anyone would tell me that because my family is so sweet. But really, ugh. Bad day to be me. My mom and hubby even tried to get me to go out and get a massage and offered to put the kids to bed for me but I just crawled into bed. Yup, one of those days. Needless to say, there was no workout going on.
Today, I woke up feeling better, but my goodness... the baby had totally dropped. Instead of being all up in my ribs I was now much lower and a bit... well, pointy looking. My skin was much less stretched but let me just say there is no doubt that something (ahem, baby girl) stuck in my pelvis. I am officially waddling. And while I could have probably managed the treadmill today - I confess that I didn't. Instead I enjoyed having tea with friends that I hadn't seen in ages and Outback with the family for dinner. It. Was. Lovely.
Okay, so today is the last day of our vacation. Tomorrow we head home. I am sad to be leaving (but who ever likes going home after an awesome vacation - no one). But let me tell you that I am rather excited to be heading home because there are only a few more weeks left before I get to meet my baby girl. I am anticipating less posts about workouts and more posts about baby... but I will try my best to keep things going to a reasonable extent (deemed reasonable by me, lol). Hugs everyone!
